Pakis try to be like Arabs at Masjid?

Ok guys everytime I go to masajid or at an Islamic even MANY of the Pakistani brothers try to speak arabic to me whatever words they know! I was born in America so sooometimes some of them will actually know more than me and when I respond in english theyll continue in Arabic! Theyll ask where Im from and in English Ill say I was born her but my family...and then theyll go on and on how they love Palestinian/Lebanese food!! Lol why is it when most arabs at masajid just speak in english to american arab guys! Do you notice Pakistani people doing this also? Im NOT MAKING FUN OF MY Pakistani brothers and Sisters in fact Im very close to a Pakistani sister ;)
